Connecting an External Microphone
You can enh ance the quality of sound i nput by using an external microphone (not
supplied).
To connect an external microphone
1 Verify th at your microphone is designed for noteb ook use and compliant
with the plug-in power micropho ne.
2 Locate the Microphone jack on the right pa nel of the notebook. A
protruding dot above th e Microphone jack distingui shes this jack from the
Headphone jack.
3 Plug the microphone cable (su ppl ied wit h microphone) connector into the
Microphone jack.
