Connecting a Port Replicator

Connecting a Port Replicator
Your notebo ok suppo rts the use of a port replicator (not supplied). Attaching a
port replicator enables you to conn ect addit ional peripherals to your notebook.
To attach the notebook to the port replicator
First, connect the supplied AC adapte r or ano ther Sony adapter (not supplied) to
the port replicator to supply power to the notebook once the port replicator is
attached.
The port replicat o r can be po w e red only by the AC adapter, so the AC adapter
must remain connected to the port replicat or at all times while it is in use. If the
AC adapter is disconn ected and/or the A C outlet is unplugged while using the
port replicator, the computer may malfuncti on and data may be lost.
