Connecting an External Floppy Disk Drive
You can connect a Sony USB flopp y disk drive (n ot supplied) to a USB port
on your notebook. Your no tebook has three USB ports: one located on the left
panel, one locat ed on the right panel, and one located on the rear panel.
To connect an external floppy disk drive
Plug the USB connector into the U SB po rt. Th e VAIO logo on the USB
floppy disk drive should be facing upward.
✍ You do not need to shut down your notebook before connecting or disconnecting a
floppy disk drive.
