Playing back tape
Various playback modes
To operate video control buttons, set the POWER switch to VCR.
Using the touch panel
(1) Press FN and select PAGE3.
(2) Press V SPD PLAY to display video control buttons.
To change the playback direction
Press during playback to reverse the playback direction.*
To locate a scene while monitoring the picture (picture search)
Keep pressing or during playback. To resume normal playback, release the
button.
To monitor the high-speed picture while fastforwarding or
rewinding the tape (skip scan)
Keep pressing while fastforwarding or while rewinding the tape. To resume
fastforwarding or rewinding, release the button.
To view the picture at slow speed (slow playback)
Press during playback. *
For slow playback in the reverse direction, press , then press .*
To view the picture at double speed
Press during playback. *
For double speed playback in the reverse direction, press , then press .*
To view the picture frame-by-frame
Press during playback pause.**
For frame-by-frame playback in the reverse direction, press .**
To search the last scene recorded (END SEARCH)
Press END SCH on PAGE1 during stop. The last 5 seconds of the recorded section are
played back then your camcorder stops.
* Press to pause playback. Press to resume normal playback.
**Press to resume normal playback.
