User benefits
Using the PTZ Auto Tracking application (REA-L0200) enables AI detection of multiple
elements in footage, such as the faces, movement, shapes, and colors of subjects
within the angle of view for smoother camera control. Having the camera pan to track
the movement of subjects in the angle of view makes it possible to control and
maintain the optimal angle of view. This application makes it possible to easily capture
natural, enhanced footage that appears as if an operator is controlling a PTZ camera.
This model is equipped with an optical zoom, which is optimal for relatively large
spaces such as auditoriums, lecture halls and event spaces.
Features
Uses AI to recognize and track the target in real time based on complex elements such as the person’s
face, movement, shape, and color.
Can be used with the tally lamp of Sony remote cameras. Turning on the tally lamp during tracking
and turning off the tally lamp when tracking is lost allows you to see whether the person is being
automatically tracked.*
The base angle can be set to “Upper Body” or “Fully Body”. You can also adjust the angle as desired using
the fine adjustment function.*
Streaming distribution is supported, in addition to HDMI output.
* Update the firmware to v4.00 or later before use.
