This is the 709(800) MLUT
viewfinder image after switching
the EI from 2000 EI to 640 EI with
no change to the aperture or
shutter speed. To compensate for
this dark image on the monitor or
in the viewfinder you should open
the aperture to compensate.
By opening the aperture the
brightness of the MLUT is restored
to a normal level.
Opening the aperture to compensate for a dark MLUT results is brighter
S-Log recording. This is often beneficial as after grading there will be
less noise in the image.
