Supported File Types
The following file types with file name extensions are supported.
Books
● EPUB files (.epub)
● EPUB (OPS version 2.0, 3.0) supported.
● PDF files (.pdf)
● Support is based on the PDF 1.6 specification.
● Text files (.txt)
Audio
● MP3 files (.mp3)
Requirements:
● Bit rate: 8 to 320 kbps
● Sampling frequency: 8 to 48 kHz
● No Digital Rights Management (DRM) protections
● AAC files (.mp4, .m4a, .3gp)
Raw AAC is not supported.
Requirements:
● Bit rate: up to 160 kbps
● Sampling frequency: 8 to 48 kHz
● No Digital Rights Management (DRM) protections
Pictures
● JPEG files (.jpg or .jpeg)
● GIF files (.gif)*
● PNG files (.png)
● BMP files (.bmp)
*Only the first frame is displayed for an animated GIF file.
Note
● A picture may not appear in the [Pictures] content list if its file size is too large. In this case, delete the picture from the Reader using
the Reader software.
