Setting the Network preferences for your provider and dial-up server
Note
The calling card option works correctly only for AT&T and Sprint long- distance
services. If you want to call by MCI, you need to set your telephone information by
entering the calling card number in the Phone # field and the phone number in the
Use calling card field.

Enter your calling card number (e.g., “,,,,123456...”) in the field next to
[Use calling card:].
Tip
Usually, waiting time is needed before entering a calling card number. When you
enter your calling card number, insert at least three commas before your calling card
number for rectifying the waiting time (transmission of a calling card number
delays for 2 seconds per one comma).
4 Tap [OK].
The Preferences screen for Network is displayed.
