Setting the Bluetooth
®
function
Note
You cannot use the Bluetooth
®
function while the Preferences screen for Bluetooth is
displayed.
Turning the Bluetooth
®
function on or off
You can turn the Bluetooth
®
function on or off.
You cannot receive data via the Bluetooth
®
function when it is disabled. By
default, the Bluetooth
®
function is disabled to conserve your CLIÉ handheld’s
battery.
1 Tap V at the top right of the Preferences screen, and select
[Bluetooth].
The Preferences screen for Bluetooth is displayed and the Bluetooth
LED lights up.
2 Tap V next to [Bluetooth:], and select [Enabled] or
[Disabled].
• Enabled: Turns on the Bluetooth
®
function. The Bluetooth LED lights up or
blinks.
• Disabled: Turns off the Bluetooth
®
function.
Note
Bluetooth LED remains lit when the Preferences screen for Bluetooth is
displayed.
