Creating new data by searching the text
data of other applications
For example, follow the steps below to create new data by searching the data
in Address Book.

Tap [OK].
Address Book starts and the data you created is displayed.
Tips
• If you want to create new data in Date Book, tap [New Date Book data] in
step 3 and then tap [Time :] and [Date :] in the displayed New Date Book
data screen.
• If you want to create new data in To Do List, Memo Pad, or CLIE Mail,
tap [New To Do data (New Memo data, or New E-mail)] in step 3 to start the
application. The text you selected will be displayed in the screen.
• If you select text that includes a mail address and tap [New E-mail], CLIE
Mail starts. The text you selected will be displayed as the outgoing mail
address.
If you select text that includes a URL and tap [Open with browser],
NetFront v3.1 for CLIE starts.

In an application other than Address Book, drag the text
you want to search with the stylus.

Press (Data Assistant).
The menu is displayed in the right of the screen.

Tap [Address Search].
The Search screen is displayed and the list you searched is displayed.
