You forgot your password
You forgot the password and your CLIÉ handheld is locked
B You must perform a hard reset of your CLIÉ handheld. If you perform a
hard reset, your CLIÉ handheld will be restored to its initial state and the
data or installed applications will be deleted.

You forgot the password and your CLIÉ handheld is not
locked
B You can use Security to delete the password, however all private data will
be deleted. If you perform the HotSync
®
operation before deleting the
password, you can back up all the data including the private data. To
restore the private data backed up to your computer, perform the HotSync
®
operation first to back up all the data to your computer and follow the steps
below.
1 Tap Password in the Security screen and then tap Lost
Password in the Password dialog box.
All the private data and password will be deleted.
2 Perform the HotSync
®
operation and restore your private data.
