Error message
B The IR port of your computer may be set to search automatically for the IR
port of other infrared devices. Follow the steps below to turn off this
setting:
1 Click Start on the Windows desktop screen, then select Settings
and Control Panel (click Start and then Control Panel in
Windows XP).
2 Double-click the Infrared icon (the Wireless icon in Windows 2000
Professional/XP).
3 Click the
Sending image tab.
4 Click the Send the image from the digital camera to your
computer using the wireless link check box to clear the
selection, and click OK.
5 Click the HotSync icon in the Windows task tray on the desktop
screen of your computer and select
Beaming from the displayed
menu.
The error message for insufficient memory space is
displayed when you receive data via beaming
B To receive data via beaming, you need free memory space in your CLIÉ
handheld that is at least twice the size of the data you receive.
If the memory space is insufficient, delete any unnecessary data.
B Perform a soft reset by pressing the RESET button.
