PAM-200 Parts List NOTE: This mount is shipped with all proper installation hardware and components. Make sure that none of these parts are missing and/or damaged before beginning installation. If there are parts missing and/or damaged, please stop the installation and contact Sony Electronics (800) 222-7669. NOTE: Please review all WARNING and CAUTION statements (see Page 8) before beginning the installation of the PAM-200.
PAM-200 Features Congratulations on the purchase of your new Sony Electronics PAM-200 Projector Mount. The projector mount can be configured for ceiling installations. The PAM-200 features MagnaGuide™ Technology which assists the installer for quicker installation times and peace of mind. The PAM-200 Projector Mount is height adjustable from 9” to 12” to help achieve the perfect viewing height.
PAM-200 Attaching the Mount Unpack the PAM-200 and review any WARNING statements that apply to the installation. Select the desired location for the PAM-200. M5 Allen Wrench M4 x 10mm Security Head Screw 1. Locate the mounting points on the bottom of the projector (see arrows above for mounting point recognition). 2. 3. 4. 5. Line up the mounting holes on the PAM-200 with the mounting points of the projector. Use three (3) M4 x 10mm security head screws to attach the PAM-200 to the projector.
PAM-200 Ceiling Installation 1. Mounting Surfaces NOTE: Use a 1/4” drill bit to pre-drill the mounting holes before securing the wood screws (supplied). Wood studs: Where denoted with the letter ‘A’, mark these locations for wood stud installation. NOTE: Use a masonry bit to pre-drill the mounting holes in the concrete surface. Concrete surface: Where denoted with the letter ‘B’, mark these locations for concrete installation. 2.
PAM-200 Safety Warning M4 x 12mm Security Screw WARNING: Both M4 x 12mm security screws (located on each side of the mount) must be tightened securely before installation is complete. If the M4 x 12mm screws are not properly secured, there will be an increased risk of attachment failure, which could result in damage to the projector. Concrete Mounting NOTE: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. The PAM-200 can be mounted to a ceiling with a minimum 6” thickness.
PAM-200 Warranty Limited Lifetime Warranty All Sony products carry a limited lifetime warranty from ship date against defects in materials and workmanship. Sony is not liable for improper installation that results in damage to mounts, adapters, display equipment or personal injury.
