For video playback

Operating an iPod
directly
— Passenger control
You can operate an iPod connected to the
dock connector directly.
1 During playback, press and hold
.
“MOD-IPOD” appears and you can
operate the iPod directly.
To exit the passenger control
Press and hold .
“MOD-AUDIO” appears and the mode
changes to “RESUMING.”
Notes
In the passenger control mode, the video of
iPod with video is not output to the monitor.
The volume can be adjusted only by the unit.
The repeat setting will be off if the passenger
control mode is canceled.

You can adjust the sound characteristics
according to your preference.
1 During reception/playback, press
 repeatedly until the desired
setting item appears on the main unit.
2 Press / to adjust the level or select
the desired option.
3 Press .
With the main unit
Press the control dial instead of , rotate
the control dial instead of pressing /.

indicated below.
