Getting Started Resetting the unit Before operating the unit for the first time, or after replacing the car battery or changing the connections, you must reset the unit. Detach the front panel and press the RESET button with a pointed object, such as a ball-point pen. Setting the clock The clock uses a 24-hour digital indication. 1 Press and hold the select button. The setup display appears. 2 Press the select button repeatedly until “CLOCK-ADJ” appears. 3 Press (SEEK) +. The hour indication flashes.
Detaching the front panel You can detach the front panel of this unit to prevent theft. About Bluetooth function What is Bluetooth technology? • Bluetooth wireless technology is a short-range wireless technology that enables wireless data communication between digital devices, such as a cellular phone and a headset. Bluetooth wireless technology operates within a range of about 10 m (about 33 feet). Connecting two devices is common, but some devices can be connected to multiple devices at the same time.
Notes on the lithium battery • Keep the lithium battery out of the reach of children. Should the battery be swallowed, immediately consult a doctor. • Wipe the battery with a dry cloth to assure a good contact. • Be sure to observe the correct polarity when installing the battery. • Do not hold the battery with metallic tweezers, otherwise a short-circuit may occur. Radio reception The stations cannot be received. The sound is hampered by noises. • Connect a power antenna (aerial) control lead (blue) or accessory power supply lead (red) to the power supply lead of a car’s antenna (aerial) booster (only when your car has built-in FM/MW/LW antenna (aerial) in the rear/side glass). • Check the connection of the car antenna (aerial). • The auto antenna (aerial) will not go up. t Check the connection of the power antenna (aerial) control lead. • Check the frequency.
A call is answered unintentionally. The connecting phone is set to answer a call automatically. No sound is output from the car speakers during handsfree call. If the sound is output from the cellular phone, set the cellular phone to output the sound from the car speakers. “OFF BT” appears when initializing. Press and hold (BT) until “ ” turns off. 3 Bluetooth-Funktion Nutzen der Bluetooth-Funktion Damit Sie die Bluetooth-Funktion nutzen können, müssen Sie das folgende Verfahren ausführen. 1 Pairing Wenn Sie zum ersten Mal eine Verbindung zwischen Bluetooth-Geräten herstellen wollen, ist eine gegenseitige Registrierung erforderlich. Die Freisprecheinrichtung Entgegennehmen von Anrufen Wenn ein Anruf eingeht, wird über die Autolautsprecher ein Rufzeichen ausgegeben. Weitere Funktionen Ändern der Klangeinstellungen Einstellen der Klangeigenschaften 1 2 Drücken Sie die Auswahltaste so oft, bis die gewünschte Option angezeigt wird. Stellen Sie durch Drehen des Lautstärkereglers die ausgewählte Option ein. Nach 3 Sekunden ist die Einstellung abgeschlossen und im Display erscheint wieder die Anzeige für den normalen Wiedergabemodus bzw. Empfangsmodus.
Einstellen von Konfigurationsoptionen — SET 1 Halten Sie die Auswahltaste gedrückt. Die Einstellanzeige erscheint. 2 Drücken Sie die Auswahltaste so oft, bis die gewünschte Option angezeigt wird. 3 Wählen Sie durch Drehen des Lautstärkereglers die Einstellung aus (beispielsweise „ON“ oder „OFF“). 4 Halten Sie die Auswahltaste gedrückt. Die Einstellung ist damit abgeschlossen und im Display erscheint wieder die Anzeige für den normalen Wiedergabemodus bzw. Empfangsmodus.
5 Drücken Sie die Auswahltaste so oft, bis „AUX“ erscheint, und stellen Sie durch Drehen des Lautstärkereglers den Eingangspegel (–8 dB bis +18 dB) ein. Verwenden gesondert erhältlicher Geräte Zusätzliche Audiogeräte Wenn Sie ein gesondert erhältliches tragbares Audiogerät an die AUX-Eingangsbuchse (Stereominibuchse) am Gerät anschließen und dann einfach die Tonquelle auswählen, können Sie den Ton über die Lautsprecher des Fahrzeugs wiedergeben lassen.
Repeat und Shuffle Play 1 Drücken Sie während der Wiedergabe so oft (3) (REP) oder (4) (SHUF), bis die gewünschte Einstellung im Display angezeigt wird. Lage und Funktion der Bedienelemente Die entsprechenden Tasten auf dem Joystick haben dieselbe Funktion wie die Tasten an diesem Gerät. ATT SEL Funktion TRACK Wiederholtes Wiedergeben eines Titels. Weitere Informationen Sicherheitsmaßnahmen • Wenn das Fahrzeug längere Zeit in direktem Sonnenlicht geparkt war, lassen Sie das Gerät etwas abkühlen, bevor Sie es einschalten. • Motorantennen werden automatisch ausgefahren, wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet wird. Feuchtigkeitskondensation Bei Regen oder bei sehr hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit kann sich auf den Linsen im Inneren des Geräts und im Display Feuchtigkeit niederschlagen. Quando si riceve una chiamata, dai diffusori dell’auto viene emesso un tono di chiamata. Innanzitutto, verificare che il presente apparecchio e il telefono cellulare siano connessi.

Een regionaal programma beluisteren — REG Als de AF-functie is ingeschakeld: met de fabrieksinstelling van het apparaat wordt ontvangst tot een bepaalde regio beperkt, zodat er niet automatisch wordt overgeschakeld naar een andere regionale zender met een sterkere frequentie. • Microgolven die afkomstig zijn van een Bluetooth-apparaat, kunnen van invloed zijn op de werking van elektronische medische apparaten. Schakel dit apparaat en andere Bluetoothapparaten uit op de volgende plaatsen, omdat dit ongelukken kan veroorzaken.
Aansluitingen schoonmaken De werking van het apparaat kan worden verstoord als de aansluitingen tussen het apparaat en het voorpaneel niet schoon zijn.
