Enjoying Sound Effects
(Surround Sound) Z
You can play a disc with one of three acoustic
atmospheres: KARAOKE, MUSIC or THEATER.
While playing a disc, press SURROUND repeatedly
until the desired effect appears in the front panel
display.
Effect mode
KARAOKE
MUSIC
THEATER
To cancel the sound effect
Press SURROUND repeatedly until “KARAOKE”, “MUSIC”
and “THEATER” disappear from the front panel display.
Note
If you press MPX (see page 24), the surround sound mode is
automatically set to KARAOKE.

Atmosphere
Creates the effect of singing in a bar.
Gives your song a rich carrying tone.
Suitable for listening to the music.
Simulates the resonance of a movie
theater. Emphasizes the bass and
extends the dynamic mid range.
