Installing and Connecting the TV Attaching the Rear Cover Adjusting the Viewing Angle of the TV Hold the rear cover as illustrated below, fitting the four pegs on the rear cover into the corresponding holes on the TV, then push the rear cover back onto the TV. You can adjust the angle to avoid the reflection of light and get a better view of the TV. Note When adjusting the angle, steady the base of the stand with your hand to prevent the TV from becoming separated from the stand.

Disconnect all power sources before making any connections. 1 2 Connect the CATV cable to the VCR’s IN jack. 3 Using AUDIO and S VIDEO cables, connect the VCR’s AUDIO and S VIDEO OUT jacks to the TV’s AUDIO and S VIDEO IN jacks. So you cannot enjoy sound effects of SRS WOW when you listen to a program through the AUDIO OUT jacks or on headphones. • SRS WOW may be restricted in the effects it produces when you listen to a program in monaural. Tip You can adjust other sound quality options. For details, see “Adjusting the Sound Quality” on page 39.

A “Memory Stick” is a compact, portable and versatile Integrated Circuit recording medium with a data storage capacity that exceeds that of a floppy disk. A “Memory Stick” is specially designed for exchanging and sharing digital data among “Memory Stick” compatible products. Because it is removable, the “Memory Stick” can also be used for external data storage.
“Memory Stick” Notes on “Memory Stick Duo” • To use a “Memory Stick Duo” with this unit, attach it to the Memory Stick Duo adapter before inserting it into the unit. • Make sure that you attach the “Memory Stick Duo” to the adapter correctly. • Make sure that you insert the Memory Stick Duo adapter correctly, otherwise the unit may be damaged. • Do not insert the Memory Stick Duo adapter without a “Memory Stick Duo” attached.
