periodsofrecordingastheframefrequencyoftheNTSCimagesignalisapproximately29.97framespersecond.Dropframecorrectsthisgap
tomakethetimecodeandactualtimeequal.Indropframe,thefirst2framenumbersareremovedeveryminuteexceptforeverytenth
minute.Thetimecodewithoutthiscorrectioniscallednon-dropframe.
