Deleting movies
You can free media space by deleting
movies from a memory card.
b Notes
• You cannot restore images once they are
deleted.
• Do not remove the battery pack, the AC
Adaptor, or the memory card from your
camcorder during the operation. It may damage
the memory card.
• You cannot delete protected movies. Undo the
protection of the movies before you try to delete
them (p. 91).
• Save important movies beforehand.
z Tip
• To delete all data recorded on a memory card
and recover all the recordable space, format the
media (p. 93).
1 Press the MENU button when the
THUMBNAIL screen is displayed.
2 Select (EDIT) t [DELETE].
3 Touch the movies to be deleted.

image. Press to return to the previous
screen.
• You can select up to 100 images at one time.

thumbnail of protected images.
• No checkbox appears on the thumbnail of
protected images.
