Setting the speaker level
You can use the test tone to adjust the level and
the balance of the speakers.
1 Press AMP MENU.
2 Press x/X repeatedly until “LEVEL”
appears, then press or c.
3 Press x/X repeatedly until “TEST
TONE” appears, then press or c.
4 Press X/x to select “T. TONE ON,” then
press .
The test tone is emitted from each speaker in
sequence.
5 Press x/X repeatedly to select the
desired speaker, then press or c.
The test tone is emitted from only the
speaker that is being adjusted.
• FL LEVEL: adjusts the front left speaker
level.
• CNT LEVEL: adjusts the center speaker
level.
• FR LEVEL: adjusts the front right speaker
level.
• SR LEVEL: adjusts the surround right
speaker level.
• SL LEVEL: adjusts the surround left
speaker level.
• SW LEVEL: adjusts the subwoofer level.
• “CNT LEVEL” does not appear when you set
“CENTER NO” in the “SP SETUP” setting.
• “SR LEVEL” and “SL LEVEL” do not appear
when you set “SUR NO” in the “SP SETUP”
setting.
6 Press x/X to adjust the speaker level,
then press or c.
Default setting: 0.0 (dB)
You can adjust from –6.0 (dB) to +6.0 (dB)
in 0.5 (dB) steps.
• If you do not adjust for a certain period, the test
tone is emitted from the next speaker in
sequence.
7 Repeat step 5 and 6 to adjust the
speaker level.
8 After you have finished making
adjustments, press
x/X until “TEST
TONE” appears, then press or c.
9 Press X/x to select “T. TONE OFF,”
then press .
10Press AMP MENU.
The AMP menu turns off.
• The test tone signals are not output from the HDMI
OUT jack.
