Advanced Operations Deleting images You can free media space by deleting movies and photos from recording media. Notes You cannot restore images once they are deleted. Do not eject memory card while deleting images from the memory card. You cannot delete protected movies and photos.

Getting detailed information from the “Handycam” Handbook The “Handycam” Handbook is a user guide designed to be read on a computer screen. The “Handycam” Handbook is intended to be read when you want to know more about operating your camcorder. 1 To install the “Handycam” Handbook on a Windows computer, place the supplied CD-ROM in the disc drive of your computer. To view the “Handycam” Handbook, double-click the short-cut icon on the computer screen. The installation screen appears.
Additional information Troubleshooting If you run into any problems using your camcorder, follow the steps below. Check the list (p. 58 to 60), and inspect your camcorder. The camcorder does not operate even when the power is set to on. Remove the power source, attach the power source again after about 1 minute, and turn the camcorder on. Press RESET (p. 71) using a pointed object, and turn the camcorder on. If you press RESET, all settings, including the clock setting, are reset.
The recording stops. The temperature of your camcorder is extremely high/low. Turn off your camcorder and leave it for a while in a cool/warm place. ”PMB” cannot be installed. Check the computer environment or installation procedure required to install “PMB” (p. 41). ”PMB” does not work correctly. Quit “PMB” and restart your computer. Información complementaria Solución de problemas Si se presenta algún problema mientras usa su videocámara, siga los pasos que se indican a continuación. Revise la lista (pág. 55 a 57) e inspeccione su videocámara. Desconecte la fuente de alimentación, vuelva a conectarla después de aproximadamente 1 minuto y encienda la videocámara. Presione RESET (pág. 68) con un objeto puntiagudo y encienda la videocámara. Al presionar RESET, se restablecen todos los ajustes, incluido el del reloj.
La alimentación se desconecta repentinamente. Utilice el adaptador de alimentación de ca (pág. 10). Encienda la videocámara nuevamente. Cargue la batería (pág. 9). La computadora no reconoce la videocámara. Las imágenes no se graban al presionar START/STOP o PHOTO. Presione MODE para encender el indicador (Película) o (Foto). La videocámara está grabando en el soporte de grabación la imagen que acaba de tomar. No se pueden realizar nuevas grabaciones durante este período.
E:: Siga los pasos de en la página 55. Existe algún problema con el flash. La cantidad de luz no es suficiente. Use el flash. La videocámara se encuentra en posición inestable. Sostenga la videocámara de forma estable con ambas manos. No obstante, tenga en cuenta que el indicador de advertencia de vibración de la cámara no desaparecerá. La batería está baja. La temperatura de la batería está muy alta. Cambie la batería o colóquela en un lugar frío.

Precauciones Uso y cuidados Cuando desconecte el cable de alimentación, tire del enchufe y nunca del cable. Procure no dañar el cable de alimentación al colocar un objeto pesado sobre él. No use la batería si está deformada o dañada. Mantenga limpios los contactos metálicos. Manipulación de la unidad Si la unidad está sucia, limpie el cuerpo de la videocámara con un paño suave ligeramente humedecido con agua y, a continuación, limpie la unidad con un paño suave y seco.
