The camcorder is automatically turned off
when you do not operate your camcorder
for more than approximately 5 minutes.
NEVER
The camcorder is not automatically turned
off.
• When you connect your camcorder to a wall
outlet, [A.SHUT OFF] is automatically set to
[NEVER].

You can slightly reduce the recording start
point time when resuming recording by
turning the POWER switch from OFF
(CHG) to on.
B OFF
Takes more time to reach the recording
start point, but a smooth transition can be
recorded.

Slightly reduces the recording start point
time by turning the POWER switch from
OFF (CHG) to on. Select this so you will
not miss any time from the click of the
shutter.
• If [QUICK REC] is set to [ON], the interval
between scenes freezes for a moment (editing on
your computer is recommended).
• If the recording standby mode continues more
than approximately 3 minutes, the drum will
stop rolling, and the standby mode is canceled.
This is to protect the tape and to prevent from
unnecessarily battery exhausting. To resume
recording, press START/STOP again.

When using your camcorder abroad, you
can set the time difference by touching
/ , the clock will be adjusted in
accordance with the time difference.
If you set the time difference to 0, the clock
returns to the originally set time.
You can select the language to be used on
the LCD screen.
• Your camcorder offers [ENG[SIMP]]
(simplified English) for when you cannot find
your native tongue among the options.
