Power ON w/monitor (FDR-AX40)
Set whether you turn on/off the product by opening/closing the LCD monitor or not.
1. - [Setup] - [ General Settings] - [Power ON w/monitor] - desired setting.
Descriptions of menu items
On:
Turns on/off this product when opening/closing the LCD monitor.
Off:
Select this setting when you want to close the LCD monitor during recording.

Language Setting
You can select the language to be used on the LCD monitor.
1. - [Setup] - [ General Settings] - [Language Setting] - desired language.

24p Mode (1080 50i-compatible device)
You can record 24p movies with changing the signal format.
1. - [Setup] - [ General Settings] - [24p Mode] -
If you want to return the system to 50i mode, select in the [Cancel 24p Mode]
screen.
