The MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format is adopted to compress video data, and the Dolby Digital or Linear PCM system is used to compress audio data. The MPEG-4 AVC/H.
DTS Parental Control Digital audio compression technology developed by DTS, Inc. This technology conforms to 5.1-channel surround. This format includes a stereo rear channel and a discrete subwoofer channel. DTS provides the same 5.1 discrete channels of high quality digital audio. The good channel separation is realized due to the all channel data being recorded discretely and processed in digitally.
