To display a warning message
Set 626. DISPLAY INFORMATION select in the
VTR SETUP menu to any setting other than time data
only and set 627. CHAR WARNING DISPLAY at
dual line mode in the VTR SETUP menu to on. The
first 16 characters of the warning message flashes on
the second line.
For details about the warning messages, see “Warning
Messages” on page A-10.
When there are multiple warning messages, each
message flashes twice before it is replaced by the next
message. When there is no warning message, the
items set in 626. DISPLAY INFORMATION select in
the VTR SETUP menu flashes on the second line
instead.
