Import your external Java application (JAR) and create your BDJobject
1. Right-click the BDJOList element in the Playlist window and choose Add BDJO from the shortcut
menu.
2. Select the New BDJO element to display its settings in the Control Panel. Use the Control Panel to
edit the following settings.
a. Change the BDJ's Name as needed.
b. Change the BDJ's Number to the value that was provided by your Java developer.
c. Click the Browse button and browse to the JAR file that was provided by your Java
developer.
d. Choose Movie from the Playback Type drop-down list.
e. Choose Permitted from the Title Access drop-down list.
f. Type .; in the Folder Access List box to grant the BDJ object access to the required folders.
g. Choose 1920x1080 from the HAVi Configuration drop-down list.
h. Select the Title Search check box.
3. Expand the BDJOelement in the Playlist window and select the New BDJApplication element to
display its settings in the Control Panel. Use the Control Panel to edit the following settings.
a. Change the BDJ application's Name to the name that was provided by your Java developer.
b. Change the BDJ application's Application Number to the number that was provided by your
Java developer.
c. Change the BDJ application's Base Directory to the value that was provided by your Java
developer.
d. Ensure the Visible check box is selected.
e. In the Initial Class Name box, type the class name that was provided by your Java
developer.
f. Choose Present from the Auto Start drop-down list.
g. Choose Title Unbound Disc Bound from the Binding Type drop-down list.
h. Choose the appropriate language from the Language drop-down list.
i. Click the New button to add the following profiles:
Profile Major # Minor # Macro #
1 1 0 0
1 1 0 1
2 1 0 0
4. Choose File >Save to save your project.
