Selecting the slideshow transition
effects
You can select the way the slides are displayed during
a slide show.
1 Press DISPLAY twice while viewing a JPEG
image or when the player is in stop mode.
2 Press V/v to highlight (EFFECT), then
press .
The options for “EFFECT” appear.
3 Press V/v to highlight a setting.
The default setting is underlined.
•MODE 1
: the images randomly cycle through
the effects.
MODE 2: the next image slides over the previous
image.
MODE 3: the image sweeps in from top to
bottom.
MODE 4: the image sweeps in from left to right.
MODE 5: the image stretches out from the center
of the screen.
OFF: turns off this function.
4 Press .

The slideshow transition effect does not work if the
JPEG file has rotation information.
Selecting a JPEG image file
1 TVs with XMB
: On the XMB
, navigate to the
Photo category, then highlight and select the
DVD Link Photo icon.
TVs with Panel menu: Select DVD Link from the
External Inputs menu.
2 When the Data Disc Menu appears, press to
access the thumbnail screen.
The image files in the album appear in thumbnail
view.
To display additional images, select a bottom
image and press
v. To return to a previous image,
select a top image and press
V.
3 Press B/v/V/b to highlight the image you want to
view, then press .
The selected image appears.
z Hint
Pressing on the highlighted image will begin a
slideshow from that image.
