Using the Setup Menu
By using the Setup Menu, you can make various
adjustments to items such as picture and sound. You
can also set a language for the subtitles and the Setup
Menu, among other things.
Some settings are fixed optimally for the TV; they are
unselectable and appear grayed out.
Playback settings stored in the disc take priority over
the Setup Menu settings and not all of the functions
described may work.
1 Press DISPLAY when the player is in stop
mode.
The Control Menu appears.
2 Press V/v to highlight (SETUP), then
press .
The options for “SETUP” appear.
3 Press V/v to highlight “CUSTOM,” then press
.
The Setup Menu appears.
4 Press V/v to highlight the setup item from the
displayed list: “LANGUAGE SETUP,”
“SCREEN SETUP,” “CUSTOM SETUP,” or
“AUDIO SETUP.”
Then press .
The Setup item is selected.
Example: “SCREEN SETUP”
5 Press V/v to highlight an item, then press .
The options for the selected item appear.
Example: “TV TYPE”
6 Press V/v to highlight a setting, then press .
The setting is selected and setup is complete.
Example: “HDMI RESOLUTION”
