Resetting the date and time
The date and time are set at the factory. Set the time according to the local time in your
country. If you do not use the camcorder for about a year, the date and time settings may be
released (bars may appear) because the vanadium-lithium battery installed in the camcorder
will have been discharged. In this case, first charge the vanadium-lithium battery, then reset
the date and time.
(1) Set the POWER switch to CAMERA.
(2) Press MENU to display the menu.
(3) Turn the control dial to select
, then press the dial.
(4) Turn the control dial to select CLOCK SET, then press the dial.
(5) Turn the control dial to adjust the year, then press the dial.
(6) Set the month, day, hour and minutes by turning and pressing the control dial.
(7) Press MENU to erase the menu display.
