Warning indicators and messages
If indicators and messages appear on the screen, check the following:

Warning indicators
100-0001 C:21:00
100-0001 Warning indicator as to file
Slow flashing:
• The file is corrupted.
• The file is unreadable.
• You are trying to carry out MEMORY MIX
function on moving picture.
_ Warning indicator as to "Memory Stick"
formatting*
Fast flashing:
• "Memo_7 Stick" is not formatted correctly
(p. 109).
• The "Memory Stick" data is corrupted.
C:21:00 Self-diagnosis display (p. 166).
_\_ The battery is dead or nearly dead
Slow flashing:
• The battery is noarly dead.
Depending on tho operating conditions,
environnrent and battery condition, the c\_
indicator nray flash, even if there are
approximately 5 to 10 minutes renraining.
Fast flashing:
• The battery is dead (p. 13).
[] Moisture condensation has occurred*
Fast flashing:
• Eject the cassette, turn off your camcorder,
and leave it for about 1 hour with the cassette
compartment open (p. 175).
Warning indicator as to cassette
memory*
Slow flashing:
• No tape with cassette menrorv is inserted
(p. 169).
Warning indicator as to "Memory
Stick"*
Slow flashing:
• No "Memorv Stick" is inserted.
• The write-protect "Memory Stick" is set to
LOCK (p. 112).
Fast flashing:
• The "Memory Stick" is not readable with
your camcorder (p. 112).
• The inrage cannot be recorded on "Memorv
Stick" (p. 128, 134).

S]ow f]ashing:
• The tape is near the end.
• No tape is inserted. *
• The write-protect tab on the cassette is out
(red) (p. 19).*
Fast flashing:
• The tape has run out.*

Slow flashing:
• The write-protect tab on the cassette is out
(red) (p. 19).
Fast flashing:
• Moisture condensation has occurred (p. 175).
• The tape has run out.
• The self-diagnosis display function is
activated (p. 166).
The image is protected*
Slow flashing:
• The image is protected (p. 155).
• The write-protect "Memory Stick" is set to
LOCK (p. 112).

(optional)
Slow flashing:
• During charging.
Fast flashing:
• There is something wrong with the external
flash (optional).
