Symptom Cause and/or Corrective Actions
• The write-protect tab on the “Memory Stick” is set to LOCK.
c Release the lock (p. 139).
The index screen is not displayed.
c Press INDEX to display the index screen, then write a print
mark (p. 188).
You are trying to write a print mark on a moving picture.
c Print marks cannot be written to a moving picture.
•A print mark is written on 999 files.
c A print mark can only be written on up to 999 files.
Images recorded using other cameras may not be resized
(p. 189).
You may not be able to play back images recorded by other
equipment in actual size. This is not a malfunction.
Folders/files renamed or images processed with the computer
may not be played back.
• If you record images with any other equipment, the images
may not be played back normally on your camcorder.
