Customizing Your Camcorder
Changing the menu settings

If you select SET UP RESET
The confirmation message will appear. To reset, select YES. The index screen will
appear after a while.
Not only the settings you have made in the menu but also those you have made with
the operation buttons will be reset to the default settings, except for clock setting.

Meaning
To cancel the beep sound.
To output the beep when you start/stop recording or
press other operation button.
To deactivate the Remote Commander to avoid remote
control misoperation caused by other VCR’s remote
control.
To activate the Remote Commander supplied with your
camcorder.
To transmit the picture data to a computer (p. 101)
To reset the settings to the default settings.
To erase all tracks and initialize a disc (p. 67).
