Meaning
To not display the picture-in-picture screen.
To display a scene in the picture-in-picture screen (p. 47).
To display successive scenes of a movie as 9 still pictures
(p. 49).
To play back repeatedly or in random order (p. 51, 53, 54).
To play back in the desired order (p. 55).
To directly call up the desired track on the screen (p. 56).
To set the playing time of a still picture to 1, 3, 5 or 10

To play back all the tracks in the disc with an effect such as
