Changing the menu settings
Menu in the CAMERA and INTERVIEW mode z is the default setting.

More than one day after removing the power source
The “COMMANDER,” “PROGRAM AE” and “WHT BAL” items return to their default
settings.
The other menu items are held in memory even when the power source is removed.

Meaning
To start recording automatically when the preset waiting
time has passed, and stop recording automatically when the
preset recording time has passed (p. 38).
To suit your specific shooting requirement (p. 41).
