Symptom Cause and/or Corrective Actions
• Internal error.
c Disconnect the power source once, and connect it again.
c Eject the disc once, and insert it again.
• There are so many tracks recorded in the disc that the
camcorder requires a long time to read.
• If the above is not the case,
c Disconnect the power source once, and connect it again.
c Eject the disc once, and insert it again.
AC adaptor/charger
If the CHARGE lamp flashes during charging the battery pack, do as follows to find out
whether the AC adaptor/charger or the battery pack is malfunctioning.
Remove the battery pack once from the AC adaptor/charger, and install the same
battery pack again.
If the CHARGE lamp lights up and no longer flashes
If the CHARGE lamp turns off when charging time has passed, neither the AC adaptor/
charger or the battery pack has problem.
If the CHARGE lamp flashes again
Try with another battery pack.
•If the CHARGE lamp flashes again, the AC adaptor/charger seems to be
malfunctioning.
•If the CHARGE lamp lights up, no longer flashes, and turns off when charging time
has passed, the first battery pack seems to be malfunctioning.
Consult your nearest Sony dealer.
The starting screen stays on the

“PLEASE WAIT” stays on the LCD
screen.
