Confirm the message [Connect with the camera?] displayed on the smartphone screen
and select [OK].
iPhone/iPad

Control the camera using the smartphone.
• Once the QR Code has been read, this camera’s SSID (DIRECT-xxxxx)
and password are registered to the smartphone. This enables you to
easily connect the smartphone to the product via Wi-Fi at a later date by
selecting the SSID.
• If you cannot connect your device to the camera by following the
procedure above, turn the smartphone off and on again and then retry
the same procedure. Alternatively select MENU t (Network) t
[Reset Network Set.] on the camera.
• If you cannot connect your device to this product using the QR Code,
refer to “Help Guide” (page 2).
Select [OK], then
complete the installation
by following the
instructions on the screen.
Select [Settings] on the
“Home” screen t
[Wi-Fi]
Select this product’s SSID
(DIRECT-xxxxx).
Return to the “Home” screen
of the iPhone or iPad and
launch PlayMemories
Mobile.
