You can perform the following operations using the camera’s Wi-Fi and
Bluetooth functions.
• Using the smartphone as a remote control for the camera (page 35).
• Turning the camera on/off from a smartphone (page 41).
• Transferring images from the camera to a smartphone (page 42).
• Saving images to a computer (For details, refer to “Help Guide” (page 2)).
• Transferring images from the camera to a TV and viewing them on the TV

Install the application PlayMemories Mobile on your
smartphone
If you install PlayMemories Mobile on your smartphone or tablet computer,
you can perform the following operations:
• Using the smartphone as a remote control for the camera (page 35).
• Turning the camera on/off from a smartphone (page 41).
• Easily transferring images recorded with your camera to the smartphone
(page 42).

• If PlayMemories Mobile is already installed on your smartphone, be sure to update
it to the latest version.
• The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functions described in this instruction manual may not

LAN.
