Check if PC Companion is activated
on the PC. If not, activate PC
Companion from the Start menu.

Connect the terminal to a PC using
a microUSB cable.

Operate following the onscreen
instructions on the PC.

If available software update is found, it
is automatically notified.
If software update failed and the terminal
does not boot, restore the terminal by
performing restoration using PC Companion.
