Tap "Write message" field and
enter a message.
When the number of entered
characters comes close to a limit, a
counter appears on the upper left of
the text box and you can check the
remaining entry space.

You can also send/receive text messages to/from
customers of overseas network operators. See
"Mobile Phone User's Guide [International Services]"
or the DOCOMO International Services website.
To send SMS to users of overseas network operators,
enter "+", "Country code" and then "the recipient
mobile phone number". Enter the phone number
without a leading "0", if any. You can also enter "010",
"Country code" and "the recipient mobile phone
number" to send messages (To reply to the received
SMS overseas, enter "010").

From the Home screen, tap ,
then tap [Messaging].

Tap someone whose messages you
want to read from the recipient
list.
A received message appears.
Information
When you receive a message (SMS), appears on
the status bar. To read the mail, drag the status bar
downward, tap an item of notified message (SMS).
When you receive a message (SMS), an icon
indicating message appears on the key unlock
screen. For the setting to show or hide icons, see
"Setting information displayed on the key unlock
screen" (P.123).
Tap / in the message to turn to (yellow).
From the Home screen, tap , then tap
[Messaging]

quickly access to the mail you have marked.
