The HCB-100E is a wireless speakerphone for use in your
home, car or office. Discreetly attached to the visor, the
HCB-100E enables total in-car handsfree functionality.
The Colour ID feature facilitates three different Bluetooth
connections.

To charge the speakerphone
Charge for approximately 4 hours or until the battery light
indicates a full charge (green).

8Pairing the speakerphone

Before you can use the speakerphone, it has to be paired
with a phone. You can pair the speakerphone with up to
three different phones.
You select a colour to identify each phone you use with the
speakerphone. A free colour is indicated by the Colour ID
flashing quickly. A colour already in use is indicated by
the Colour ID flashing slowly.
To pair the speakerphone with a phone
1. Press and hold down to turn the speakerphone on.
2. If you have one or more phones paired, press and hold
down until the Colour ID flashes and you hear a
long high tone. If no phone is paired, exclude this step.
3. Press repeatedly to select a colour.
4. Prepare your phone according to the phone User guide
on how to add a Bluetooth device. Enter the
speakerphone passcode (0000).
When successfully paired, the speakerphone beeps and the
Colour ID shows the colour with a steady light.
Note: For Bluetooth communication, we recommend
a maximum distance of 10 metres (33 feet), with no solid
objects in between.

You can use your speakerphone with up to three phones.
1. Press and hold down to turn the speakerphone on, it
automatically searches for the last phone used.
2. To select another phone, press repeatedly until the
Colour ID of your phone is shown.

161. Attach the clip to the speakerphone and fasten the
speakerphone to the sun visor (front or side).
2. Pull out the microphone boom fully and direct the
microphone towards your face.
Note: Make sure that the speakerphone is properly
secured to the sun visor and does not obstruct the driver’s
view. Check with your car manufacturer for
recommendations on how to place the speakerphone.

You can make calls using the phone keypad, or using voice
commands. To use voice commands, you first have to
activate voice control in your phone and record voice
commands. See the phone User guide.
To make a call using voice commands
