Connectivity
Internet and email settings, synchronizing,
Bluetooth, infrared, USB cable, update service.
Settings
Before you start using Internet, Messaging, My
Friends or PlayNow™, settings are required in
your phone.
Settings may already be entered when you buy
your phone. If not, make sure you have a phone
subscription that supports data transfer (GPRS).
Entering settings
You can enter settings as follows:
• Receive settings from your network operator or
service provider or from
www.SonyEricsson.com.
• Enter or edit settings manually, which requires
that you have the settings from your network
operator or service provider available.
Using Internet
Browse the Internet using HTTP (Hyper Text
Transfer Protocol).
To select an Internet profile
} Settings } the Connectivity tab } Internet Settings
} Internet Profiles and select a profile to use.
To start browsing
} Internet Services and select a service or } Internet
Services } More to view options.
To stop browsing
} More } Exit Browser.
Options when browsing
} More to view options. The menu contains the
following options but may depend on the Web page
you are visiting:
} Go to for options:
• Sony Ericsson – go to the pre-defined homepage
set for the current profile.
• Bookmarks – create, use or edit bookmarks.
• Enter Address – enter the address to a Web page.
For more information contact your network operator
or visit www.SonyEricsson.com.
If you select an email address when browsing a Web
page, you can send a message to that address.
