Text messaging, picture messaging, voice
messaging, email, My Friends.
Text messaging (SMS)
Text messages can contain simple pictures, sound
effects, animations, and melodies. You can also
create and use templates for your messages.
Before you start
A service center number, to send and receive text
messages, is provided by your network operator. It
may already be set on the SIM card or you can add
the number yourself.
To set a service center number
1 } Messaging } Settings } Text Message }
Service Center.
2 The correct service center number is shown or
if the field is empty or you want to add a new
number } New Service Ctr. and enter the
number, including the international “+” sign
and country code } Save.

To write and send a text message
1 } Messaging } Write New } Text Message.
2 Write your message } Continue.
3 } Enter Phone No. for a phone recipient or
} Contacts Lookup for a number or group in
Contacts or select from the last used recipients
list below the send options } Send.
4 To save the message without sending it, press
and } Yes to save in Drafts.

If you send a text message to a group, you will be
charged for each member of that group.
To send a message to an email address, you need to
enter email settings. % 60 Settings.
