SmartChip and battery
information
Always turn off the phone and detach the charger
before you insert or remove a SmartChip.
To insert SmartChip and battery
1 Remove the battery cover by sliding it as
shown in the picture.
2 Slide the SmartChip into its holder. Make sure
that the gold contacts of the SmartChip are
facing down, and the cut off corner is correctly
aligned.
3 Place the battery on the back of the phone with
the label side up and the connectors facing
each other.
4 Locate the notches along each side of the
phone. Using the notches as a guide, slide the
back cover upward until it clicks in place.

To charge the battery
It may take up to 30 minutes before the battery icon
appears when charging.
