Before Using the Handset
■  QWERTY keyboard
Japanese characters can be entered in
"Romaji input" mode.
■  12 key keyboard
Japanese characters can be entered in
"Kana input" mode.
■  Japanese syllabary keyboard
Japanese characters can be entered in
"Kana input" mode using keys arranged
according to the Japanese syllabary.

On the character entry screen,
touch and hold the character mode
icon .
