❖Information
･ If last names/first names are registered in the
following conditions, the contacts are also
automatically linked.
- Two-byte hiragana/two-byte katakana/one-byte
katakana
- Upper case/Lower case of alphabets
- The same characters with or without accent
marks or phonetic symbols
■ Conditions not automatically linked
Contacts with the same last name/first name
but registered in the same saving location are
not automatically linked.
Examples:
Deleting contacts

From the Home screen, tap ,
then tap [Contacts].

Press t, then tap [Delete
contacts].

Mark the contacts you want to
delete.
･ If you want to delete all contacts, tap
[Mark all].

Tap [Delete] X [OK].
❖Information
･ You can also delete the contacts by touching and
holding a contact on the Contacts screen, then
tapping [Delete contact].
The last names/first names are the same as the
reading of last names/first names (only when Select
language is set to 日本語 (Japanese)).
Last name:
ドコモ (Docomo)
First name: 一郎 (Ichiro)
Last name (reading):
どこも
First name (reading):
いちろう
Last name: どこも
First name: いちろう
Last names/first names are not registered but the
identical phone numbers or mail addresses are
registered (similar last names/first names may be
linked)
