To turn off the ringtone

Press and then press and hold down .
The alarm signal is not affected.
Light effects
You can use circular light effects to be notified of new
messages or incoming calls. You can add pulsating light
effects to your favourite contacts. Turn off light effects to save
battery power.
Certain light effects cannot be turned off, for example,
those you see when you open and close the phone, or
when you add or remove an accessory.
To turn on light effects

Select Menu > Settings > Sounds & alerts > Light
effects.

Select On.
To set a light effect for a phone contact

Select Menu > Contacts.

Scroll to a contact and select Options > Edit contact.

Select an option and then select Save.
Locks
SIM card lock
This lock only protects your subscription. Your phone will
work with a new SIM card. If the lock is on, you have to enter
a PIN (Personal Identity Number).
If you enter your PIN incorrectly three times in a row, the SIM
card is blocked and you need to enter your PUK (Personal
