Scroll to a theme and select Set.
Ringtones
To set a ringtone
1
Select Menu > Settings > Sounds &
alerts > Ringtone.

Find and select a ringtone.
To set the ringtone volume
1
Select Menu > Settings > Sounds &
alerts > Ring volume.

or to change the volume.

Select Save.
To turn off the ringtone

Press and then press and hold
down .
The alarm signal is not affected.
To set the vibrating alert

Select Menu > Settings > Sounds &
alerts > Vibrating alert.

Select an option.
Light effects
You can use circular light effects to be
notified of new messages or incoming
calls. You can add pulsating light
effects to your favourite contacts. Turn
off light effects to save battery power.
Certain light effects cannot be turned off,
for example, those you see when you
open and close the phone, or when you
add or remove an accessory.
To turn off light effects

Select Menu > Settings > Sounds &
alerts > Light effects.

Select Off.
To set a light effect for a phone
contact

Select Menu > People > Contacts.

Scroll to a contact and select Options >
Edit contact.

Scroll to
and then select Light
effect.

Select an option and then select Save.
Screen orientation
You can change between landscape
and portrait orientation, or, if available,
select Auto rotate to have the
orientation change when you rotate the
phone.
To change screen orientation in the
browser

Select Menu > t-zones.

Select Options > View.

Select Landscape or Portrait.
