Phone
Networks
Network coverage
To make or receive a phone call your phone must be within range
of a network.
Network settings
You can set how your phone should choose an available network
when you are outside your operator coverage area.
To enter the network settings

Press <HW Call key icon> and tap <Spanner icon>.

Tap the <Network> tab and enter the settings.
Making calls
Voice call
1 Tap to call a number you dialled using the phone keypad, or
a highlighted contact.

To make a voice call

Press .

Scroll to a contact, then press .

To end the call, press

Make sure you do not block the speaker with your hand when
using the speakerphone.
To make an international call

Press <HW Call key icon>.

Tap and hold down < 0+ icon> to get the international call
prefix.

Enter the country/region code, area code (whithout the first
zero) and phone number.

Tap <SW Call key icon>.
To make an emergency call

Press <HW Call key icon>.

To display the virtual keypad, if not displayed, tap<keypad
icon>.

Dial the local emergency number, or look it up on the SIM
card, if available.

Tap <SW Call key icon>.
Usually no SIM card or PIN code is required for emergency calls,
but this can be operator-dependent. Contact your operator for
more information.
To make a call from Contacts

Open Contacts by tapping <Contacts icon> or by tapping
<Start> > <Contacts>.

Scroll to the contact you want to call.

Press <Lur icon>.
Video call
1 Camera on/off
2 Microphone on/off
3 Front (video) camera/Main camera
4 Switch views of how you and the other party are displayed.
To make a video call

Scroll to a contact, then tap Menu > Video Call.

To end the call, press

receiving calls
To answer a call

Press <HW Call key icon>.
To reject a call with busy tone

Press <HW End call key icon>.
Features
Conference call
You can start a conference call when you have an ongoing call
and one or several calls on hold, or an incoming call during an
ongoing call.
To set up a conference call

Make a call.

Put the call on hold and make a new call, or accept a new
incoming call.

Tap Menu > Conference.
