Keypad lock
You can set this lock to avoid
accidental dialing. Incoming calls can
be answered without unlocking the
keypad.
To use the automatic key lock
1 From standby select Menu > Settings
>
the General tab > Security > Automatic
keylock.
2 Select an option.
To lock the keypad manually
• From standby press and select
Lock.
To unlock the keypad manually
• From standby press and select
Unlock.
Flight mode
In Flight mode the network and radio
transceivers are turned off to prevent
disturbance to sensitive equipment.
To change the Flight mode
1 Menu > Settings > the General tab >
Flight mode > Cont..
2 Select an option:
• Don’t show – The Flight mode menu
does not display at startup.
• Show at startup – Displays the Flight
mode menu at startup.
To select a Flight mode option
1 At startup, the Flight mode menu
displays.
2 Select an option:
• Normal mode – full functionality.
• Flight mode – limited functionality.
IMEI number
Keep a copy of your IMEI (International
Mobile Equipment Identity) number in
case your phone is stolen.
To view your IMEI number
• From standby press , , ,
, .
Calls to the international emergency
numbers 911 or 112 can still be made.
You can use the Bluetooth™ function in
Flight mode.
