Emergency calls
Your phone supports international
emergency numbers, for example, 911
and 112. These numbers can normally
be used to make emergency calls in
any country, with or without the
SmartChip inserted, if a 3G (UMTS) or
GSM network is within range.
To make an emergency call
From standby enter 911 or 112 (the
international emergency numbers) and
press .
To view your local emergency
numbers
1 From standby select Menu > Address
Book.
Do not hold your phone to your ear when
using the loudspeaker. This could
damage your hearing.
Mobile Networks is Smartchip
dependent.
In some countries, other emergency
numbers may also be promoted. AT&T
may therefore have saved additional
local emergency numbers on the
SmartChip.
